Near Scheidgen you walk on the edge of the Mullerthal region, Luxembourg's 'Little Switzerland' of sandstone rocks and wooded stream valleys. At 7.5 km, the circuit takes roughly 2 hours. There is barely any climbing.
The route mostly follows near-natural paths through woods and open country. The circuit carries the blue Auto-Pédestre waymark throughout; being a loop, it has no fixed start.
